Sporting a huge baby bump, Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) is in anything but mommy mood these days. While Mel, who’s due to give birth any day now, should be resting up and taking it easy, her life has just become even more convoluted.

The former Spice Girl is in the throes of a paternity war with actor Eddie Murphy, who she claims is the father of her unborn baby.

Eddie, 45, publicly declared:

I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.

Mel, 31, was furious with the insinuation that she’d been sleeping with other people during their relationship last summer. Mel shot back and told friends that she was going to announce the DNA test results on live US television.

And she has a secret weapon: hotshot lawyer Don Engel, who charges over £250 an hour and will fight for a slice of Eddie’s £40 million fortune.
