Wedding fever has gripped Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria. As her 7th July wedding date to San Antonio Spur’s star Tony Parker draws closer, Eva wants country crooner Kenny Chesney to perform at the wedding.

Eva Longoria tells Cosmopolitan magazine in their April issue:

My friend Kenny [Chesney] is going to sing at my wedding.

There’s a catch: Longoria admits,

‘He just doesn’t know it yet.”

Asked about what is the most exciting part of planning a wedding, Longoria - like any typical gal - says:

My dress, my dress, my dress! I wish I could wear 10 dresses to my wedding. It’s so sad that you put it in storage and then never see it again. I am going to sleep in mine after I wear it.

No word yet on who is designing Eva’s dress. I’d say her pal Oscar de la Renta, or the perennial star favorite Vera Wang.

The petite Latina, 31, is also big on having a family. She says:

I never had a timeline for my life. I didn’t say I wanted to be married at 28 and have three kids by the time I was 32. I do want to have a family at some point. I also want to adopt. I don’t feel pressure to have kids because I know there are so many out there.

Eva and Tony were engaged on November 30th, 2006.
